It is my privilege and a pleasant task to present the annual report for 2009-2010 sessions of your youth, energetic school. The year has been deeply rewarding, as each member of staff worked with full enthusiasm in each and every very field of school life i.e. academic, cultural. Extra–Curricular activities and sports to make this year a real memorable one.
One Admission policy continues to be the same and over the year it has helped many a deserving students. All Christian students who apply for admission and fulfill minimum requirements are accepted. Christian and other need students who cannot afford fee are helped and given fee concession.
New Academic Session started on 1st April 2009 with full Enthusiasm in order to have god Blessing for the whole year on 7th April we had special prayer in St. Michael’s church. The service was conducted by rev. Ashok K. David. Who gave beautiful message and reminded each and every one to be true to his/her duty and work with honesty and dedication for the progress & growth of the intuition that has been is established for his glory.
On 9th July just after re–opening of the school after summer vacations the school welcomed it newly appointed Principal Mrs. Doris James in a formal function which was presided by the Rt. Rev. Sunil K. Singh , Bishop of the Delhi and chairman of the school and other members of the Managing Committee. I am really thanks to the members of the managing committee and especially tour chairman the Rt. Revd. Sunil K. Singh for giving me this opportunity to work as head of the institution. I will work hard of the betterment of the institution and to keep up its values.
Workshops Attended By the Principal and Staff During the Years
  • Principal attended the workshop organized by institute of counselor training research and Consultancy On August 20th, 2009 on the topic ‘Discipline’ New Challenges which was very useful and helped us to maintain discipline in different situations and to bring better environment in the class.
  • Two of our Teachers Mrs. Neelam Abraham and Mrs. Neelam Gupta also Attended a workshop organized by ICTRC on Sept 17th, 2009 on the topic “Managing Behaviors Problems”.
  • On Nov 10th, 2009 two of our teachers Mrs. Sarita Gupta and Miss Queeny James Attended a Workshop organized by CNDP (coalition for Nuclear Disarmament & Peace).
  • Another two days Workshop organized by CNDP on March 25th & 26th, 2009 was attended by Mrs. Susmita Massey & Mrs. Oueeny James. the topic was Maintaining “Peace and National Integrity ”at School Leve.
  • Workshop on the implementation of C.C.E. in class nineth tenth was attended by the Principal and two other teachers in laxman Public School on October 16th &17th, 2009.
  • CNDP organized a four day trip from Dec 11th, 2009 to Dec 14th 2009 for peace volunteers (students and teachers )to the uranium mining site in jadugoda, Jharkhand for different school. Two of our students ( surbi &aaina ) of class IX and Mrs. Queeny James attended it. It was really very educative & challenging.
All these workshops were of great help to the teachers for the all round developments of the students. Teachers who attended these workshops educated other teachers regarding these issues.
Workshops and Actives Organized for Students and Parents During the Year
  • A workshop on Rakhi making was held by the times of India NIE for classes IV to X on 22nd & 23rd July2009.
  • An activity was held For the junior classes by children channel nickelodeon titled as ‘ the unbeatable contest ’, the aim of the programme was to boost the confidence level in the young minds. Free samples of Dabur junior chyavanprash and odomas were given to the entire student.
  • On Sept12th 2009 a workshop on health care was held for girls of classes VII and VIII. The students along with their mother attended the workshop and various challenges of growing years were discussed upon.
  • A workshop on health food habits was held by the Bournvita group for the students of Nursery and K.G. The students were accompanied by their parents and the session was addressed by a child specialist who answered all queries on eating habits of children.
  • On 3rd November a workshop was held by national geographic channel for class V to VII. A documentary on global warming its effects and control was shown which was followed by a quiz. Student Won Prizes .
  • A long activity was organized by nick channel in which students participated in different outdoor games on ground near ambience mall and our school team was judged the best team.
  • A workshop was organized for the parents and students of class IX to explain each and every detail students of CCE programs to be implemented from the year 2009-10.
  • A long activity was organized by Pogo Channel in okhla N.S.I.C ground on10th December .Okhla in which about 300 students participated .it was a full day enjoyments where children played many games and had a chance to see live performance of “ROB” the magical painter which comes on pogo channel.
Games Champions Organized in The School at Zonal Level
  • From 1st to 3rd sept. 2009 was a very challenging week we had volley ball matches at zonal level in our school ground. About 10-15 school of our zone participated in these matches officials from the zone. Visited our school and school and appreciated the discipline of the school. It was weak of great excitement our junior and sub-junior volley ball team (girls )Participated in the tournament .our junior volley ball team got 2nd position in the zonal whereas the sub –junior team got the tournament students also participated in kho-kho matches at zonal level and were among the top three teams of zone students got trophies and certificates from the Deputy Director of Education.
  • On 25th, 26th April 2009 and 16th &17th 2010 we had judo karate championship. It was organized H.M.K.C.C (Hawa Mahal Noida & Gurgaon participated in the championship .about 60 students from our school participated .Our children won the maximum numbers of medals and our school was declared best in the tournaments and got the winner shield .
  • Two of our student’s Avneet Singh and Pavneet Singh of class III participated at National Level (karate Championship) and won Gold Medal.
Picnics & Educational Trips Organized For The Students Throughout the year.
  • On 23rd April students of class IV to X were taking to Paras cinema where they enjoyed an English thriller (The Dark Night).
  • On 8th September ,2009 students of IX and X were taken to fun and food village the day was thoroughly enjoyed by each students.
  • On 31st October students of class IV to VI visited to rajghat and Gandhi Museum as a part of education trip.
  • An Educational trip for student of class I to III was organized and students visited Rail Museum on 16th November 2009.
  • An Educational trip to mother dairy plants was organized for the students of class VII and VIII on 24th November. Where they saw how milk is pasteurized and how different types of ice cream are made.
  • Students form class nur.& K.G Went to doll museum on 11th dec.
  • On 16th & 18th Feb. Students of class Nur. to III were taken to childrens park and students of IV to IX were taken to national zoological Park and Purana Qila for Picnic Everyone had a Very nice Time there.
Competition Conducted in School
  • On 4th August Rakhi making competition was held class V to VII and the best enteries were given prizes.
  • An Art competition was sponsored by Britannia sunfieast group on 24th august for all students and best students were given gifts.
  • Drawing & colouring competition was conducted by camlin group for junior class on 21st September.
  • Speech competition in hindi was held for class IX and X on 16th November.
  • On 17th November speech competition in English was held for class VII &VIII.
  • Debate competition in English was held for classes IX and X on 18th November.
  • On 18th November story telling competition in English was held for classes III and IV.
  • Story Telling competition in Hindi Was held for classes I to II on 23rd November.
  • Recitation competition in English & hindi was held for nursery and K.G. Study Centre for students of class X.
  • On 23rd November Test of Aptitude was conducted by the Chaitanya
  • A spelling competition was held by oxford publications for class V to IX on 27th November.
  • Math’s and science exhibition was organized on 3rd Dec 2009. Children prepared different models and exhibited nicely .parents also attended the exhibition and appreciated it.
  • In all these competition students were adjudged and were given prizes during Christmas celebration.
Celebration of National and other Festivals
Independence Day : It was celebration on 13th August in School Premises The Flag hoisting ceremony was followed by a and education presentation by the student which included speech, patriotic song, dances, skits etc.
Teacher’s Day : Students of class X organized a colorful and educative presentation by the student of all the class on 4th September which showed their love respect for their teacher and made. The day a real memorable one.
Diwali : A cultural programs was organized which was followed by Diwali fest organized the teachers. Which made the day memorable to each one of us.
Children Day : It was the day when teachers orgnised a beautiful programme for the students which included songs, skit, jokes, riddles, dance and fancy dress by teachers. Each child felt very important and happy on that day a small bal mela was also organised.
Children Day : It was moment of great joy and merry making Different activities were organized for two to three days in which they sang carols, had fancy dress by student of nursery & K.G Certificates and gifts were distributed to the students who won prizes in different activates throughout the year. Students were given Christmas gift lunch was organized for teacher and were also given Christmas gift. Christmas fest was also organized for students.
Effort done to improve the academic standard of the School
Special attention is given to improve the academic standard of the schoolspicial attention was given to improve handwriting ,spellings ,tables and recitation of the students .Copies were checked by the principal throughout the year to see that work done is up to the mark. Weak students were given special attention by the teachers during the zero period to improve the academic standard their Performance .

The annual school fete was held on 6th feb. which was inaugurated by the rt. Rev sunil K Singh .the day witnessed a huge gathering of students ,parents and well wishers who enjoyed the various stall and contributed to the success of the day. School annual exams started on 2nd march. Results of nur & K.G was declared on 19th march. I & IX were declared on 25th march. We had 100% results from nur & IX. Class X result was declared 29th may 2010.
